Wye Oak, along with Quilt, are my favourite new band of the millennium. This standalone track (new LP soon?) channels lessons learnt in solo project Flock of Dimes. Harsh jagged guitar & synths that then melt into a lovely lilting chorus. Energy & subtlety, wonderfully arranged & produced.
